Hello together, Currently, user management in Fusion Manage requires manual effort or custom integrations, which are neither scalable nor aligned with IT security standards (ISO 27001) in enterprise environments. This Idea is about implementing a standard, out-of-the-box solution for managing users and their permissions in Fusion Manage via Microsoft Active Directory (AD) Groups. This functionality is essential for large organizations aiming for increased security and better compliance with internal and external standards. Importanly, this capability must be part of the Fusion Manage standard configuration to avoid the need for custom middleware or bespoke development - which often requires unavailable internal capacity and ongoing maintenance. By enabling native AD group integration, Autodesk would significantly enhance the usability, scalability and security of Fusiion Manage - making it a more viable option for enterprise-wide deployment. Similar to ACC, Fusion Manage should allow users to markup a PDF and download the file with every markup. This is useful for companies dealing with vendors who need to be able to download the PDF with all markups and don't have access to it any other way. Other Autodesk tools are using this capability and there is redlining capabilities already within FM for DWF and DWG file types. Within the Security Users window we should have the ability to apply filters for active/inactive/deleted users as well as define and save sorting or various views just as we can elsewhere in the tenants. When managing a tenant with many users, having this added functionality would improve the abilities of admins to more easily manage their users. We have the need to produce a BOM that can have the same item used multiple times at the same level rather than increase the quantity, see below: Imagine a simple assembly with two children as per fusion can currently produce: Machine Assembly x1 Bracket x2 Plate x3 With the above it is only possible to increase the quantity of each item. What we require is: Machine Assembly x1 Bracket x2 Plate x1 Plate x1 Plate x1 Adding further child items can be included as new lines not increasing the quantity. I’m imagining a toggle (or similar) on the place component dialogue that allows the user to pick either increase quantity (the default option) or add new line item as above. The reason for this is to add extra property information to a BOM view such as location ID’s or similar for the individual components, If the quantities are grouped then this information cannot be accurately maintained. I have seen workarounds that use the grid to maintain this data, but this makes the syncing to ERP and ongoing maintenance of the BOM overly complex.

We are currently using Fusion Manage for our ECR process. One large issue for my department as coordinator of this process is the scheduling of tasks. We have used templates to create tasks for different teams. Right now, there is two options: Create all tasks and initiate them at the same time. Create some tasks, wait for them to finish and then create dependent tasks Option 1 will create a lot of tasks which cannot be started by the assignees, because they are missing information from predecessor tasks. People are forced to regularly check the status of tasks they are dependent on. After a while tasks become a mess. Option 2 is what we are doing right now. This causes a lot of overhead on our side. So we will have to initiate task A. When this is done, we will get information from Fusion, because there are no open tasks. Then we will have to check the template manually, which would be the next consecutive tasks and create that manually, assign and initiate it. It would help us much, if there would be either an option to initiate only a selection of tasks which have been created by template or (even better) link tasks as predecessors and successor (GANT basics) so that completion of task A will trigger initiating task B.

we should be able to see what transitions were executed by a delegate. currently a report or view will only show the action performed by the original user that was on the record not the delegation.

Fusion Manage is a powerful product lifecycle management (PLM) solution, but its accessibility is currently limited to web-based usage. To enhance usability and productivity, I propose that the Fusion Manage product team develop a dedicated mobile app for iPhone and iPad (iOS). A Fusion Manage mobile app would provide several key benefits: On-the-Go Access: Users can review, approve, and manage workflows from their iPhone or iPad, ensuring productivity anytime, anywhere. Improved Collaboration: Push notifications for approvals, change requests, and tasks would enable faster response times. Optimized for iPad: A larger screen experience would make it easier to interact with complex workflows, dashboards, and reports. Offline Mode: Allow users to review project details and tasks even when working in areas with limited connectivity. Touch & Apple Pencil Support: Improve document markup and annotations for reviews and approvals directly on iPad. A native iOS app would provide a seamless, modern experience for engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, making Fusion Manage more accessible and effective.

When a record is cloned, the change log on the new item does not display what record it was cloned from. it just states the record was created. this log should list what item it was cloned from.

In our User Acceptance Test, our key users run into error when trying to Approve a Change Request (CR) and generate Change Order (CO), because the Affected Item(s) they added were already part of an active CO. We have managed to somewhat overcome this issue by returning a meaningful message to users through scripting, but it would be useful to have a visible indication when we 'Add' Items in the 'Affected Items' dialog box of the CR, to shows the Item(s) we are selecting are already Pending Change and are part of an active ECO. This could be achieved by listing these items with different font colour, or by exposing relevant properties / fields as Columns in the 'Add' Affected Items dialog box (See screenshot). The Items should still be selectable in the list, but user would know that they need to review active COs and potentially associate their CR with an already active CO.

Please extend the list of options how a picklist link can be rendered. Instead of just “Item Descriptor” to link to the item details, I want to link directly to other tabs. Currently user is forced to navigate via the Item Details. This is not just about saving the user some clicks, it helps understanding. Two examples 1. A grid column (or item details) with picklist to “Document”. I want the user to navigate directly to the attachments tab of that record. 2. Imagine a grid with table of “Part Options” links. The “Part Options” column is a picklist to the “Part Options” workspace. But this workspace contains no real meta on Item Details, the main data is on the grid. When the user is forced to navigate via Item Details, it is confusing and does not help his/her understanding of the data model. If the link could directly navigate to the Grid of the Part Options record, the relationship would be easier to understand. I know I can create my own link with a computed field, but I cannot do this in combination with “Latest Version” option. Please extend the list of the options available to render the picklist. Grid and Item Details picklists please, as an option on the field definition, not inside the picklist definition itself.
